You will notice that I like to create things. I've made a little hobby out of re-purposing or "up-cycling," old stuff. Having a project of some sort going at all times is relaxing for me. If I get an unexpected break from my teaching schedule I usually have something lined up to fiddle with. Here are some of my recent projects. (Below)
This is something I do for fun, and not part of my business. That being said, if you are interested in buying one of my projects or would like to commission me to make a piece for you, feel free to contact me.
My work is often featured on "American Honey" my YouTube channel. Check out the videos below (keep scrolling), or click the button to be taken to the American Honey Channel. My wife is "Honey Bee, I am Honey Bear, and my boys are the "Bear Cubs"
In this video, follow me as I make vinyl butterflies!
I love repurposing old pianos. Once I started taking them apart, it was hard to stop. I joke with my wife that it's good we don't have an old barn, because I would fill it with old pianos! A junkyard of sorts for old instruments.
I made a bow for my guitar that WORKS!
Who doesn't like old soda crates? I love them! Check out how I repurposed them.
Everyone always says "You make things out of pianos all the time, but you're a guitar teacher? You should repurpose a guitar" I did just that for my kids. I present to you the "Guitar House"
Me and my boy's "up-cycled" our old coffee table. We made something magical!
Yet another infinity project. (Maybe my favorite yet!) Make sure to watch until the end or you will miss the magic :)
